I thoroughly enjoyed this wee adventure. Totally ut of my comfort zone on so many levels, but I was looked after, supported and encouraged all the way. Barry and Nessie are just the best tutors and the crew on board were also terrific. What a wonderfult way to meet and spend time with a some very talented musicians while exploring our world. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The week spent “sailing” (fabulous weather but no wind) round the Aeolian Islands was wonderful. The scenery was magnificent, the visits ashore memorable, the company was great and, of course, the music was joyful. A week never to be forgotten in so many ways.

It's hard to find words to describe how good this trip was. What a privilege to live on the beautiful Florette for a week, surrounded by gifted musicians and enjoying great food, company and treks on the Aeolian Islands. we had originally thought of doing a trip in Scotland, but when that wasn't possible we went for this, and we have no regrets!

Just like last time for me, this Session and Sails trip flew by so fast. And left many beautiful memories full of lovely tunes and people, dreamy landscapes and wee adventures. I cannot recommend it enough. Many thanks to Barry and Nessie for making all of it possible. Will be back!

All in all, a fabulous trip with glorious scenery, weather, food, music and company. With numerous opportunities for swimming in the Mediterranean, kayaking, paddle-boarding, snorkelling and shore trips to beautiful islands with pretty little towns nestling in the shadow of active volcanoes (exciting!) Excellent food both on board and ashore in the restaurants and cafes. The only reason I have said 4 stars instead of 5, is that The Lady of Avenel wasn't there - she's a far nicer ship to be on! Cheers once again for the trip of a lifetime :)
